Privacy Policy

What we collect

What you type into our contact form: your name, your company name, your email address, and — if you choose to select one — the topic you are most focused on.

We also process technical data, including your IP address, through our hosting and anti-spam providers — to keep the site available and to block automated abuse. We do not use it to build a profile of you, and we do not use it to identify you personally — except where we need to investigate misuse of this site, or where the law requires it.

We also collect aggregate, cookieless visit statistics — for example which pages are viewed — through our hosting provider, so we can tell whether the site is working. This does not identify you.

We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not track you across other websites.

Why we collect it

To reply to your enquiry and to arrange your Preliminary Consultation. That is the only purpose. We will not use your details for unrelated marketing, and we will never sell them or pass them to third parties for their own marketing.

Who else sees it

Your enquiry is stored and delivered to us by third-party vendors we appoint, who handle it only for the purposes we set: a website hosting, security and anti-abuse vendor, which also holds your enquiry for 24 months; an email delivery vendor; and the vendor that supplies and administers our mailbox. Those vendors use sub-contractors of their own, and we may appoint other vendors for the purposes described in this policy — for example a scheduling tool, if we add a booking page. Using your details for a different purpose would need a change to this policy, not just a new vendor. These vendors operate internationally, so your details may be stored or processed outside Hong Kong. We never use it for any other purpose, and the same limit binds everyone we appoint. We would disclose it only where the law requires us to — for example to a court or a regulator.

If you message us on WhatsApp rather than using the form, that conversation takes place on Meta's service and is subject to Meta's own privacy terms. We do not control what Meta collects.

How long we keep it

Enquiry details are kept for 24 months and then deleted, unless you become a client — in which case your records are governed by the engagement terms and by the statutory record-keeping periods that apply to them.

Your rights

You have the right to ask what personal data we hold about you and to ask us to correct it. You can also ask us to delete it, and we will — unless we are required to keep it. Financial and tax records must be retained for seven years, and we cannot delete those on request. Email hello@finhubstrategy.com, addressed to the Privacy Officer, and we will respond within the statutory time limit.

Confidentiality

Any financial information you share with us in the course of an enquiry or engagement is treated as strictly confidential.
